Co-Founder

Born and raised in Austin, Mac began her career at a large tech-focused recruiting firm, where she quickly rose from recruiter to managing the entire Austin market. Over nearly a decade in the industry, she built deep relationships across the local technology ecosystem, specializing in hiring for high-impact roles in software engineering, data, and emerging technology.

Today, Mac leads Scherer Talent with a clear mission: to help growing companies build stronger teams as they scale and evolve. With extensive experience in client partnership, recruiting strategy, and project execution, she brings both precision and heart to every search. Her deep roots in Austin, combined with her hands-on market expertise, allow her to connect exceptional talent with companies ready to innovate and grow.

Co-Founder

Ben began his professional journey as an entrepreneur, co-founding a 3D printing dental lab in Tucson, Arizona. In 2019, he moved to Austin and brought his entrepreneurial spirit to GLG, where he connected private equity clients with expert consultants. His knack for building relationships and leading teams naturally complements Mac's recruiting expertise.
